Nostalgia Factory or Genuinely Amazing?

Today's housecleaning experiment: I have just queued up Jane's Addiction's Live album on Grooveshark and am about to listen and probably dance and sing around my apartment along to it. If all goes according to plan, I will fall in love with this album all over again and will start my search for it on vinyl, stopping at nothing, paying big $$ just to have that sweet album and cover in my hot little hands for real. Sorry neighbors. CRANK THIS ISH!

Returning the Sweet Hot Drift Gift

In case you haven't already, please do yourself a favor and check out my friend Ruby's blog: sweethotdrift. It is full of magical, dream-like, smoking hot photos and art and music that is certain to make your limbs and trims tingle all over. Without it, I would be missing out on so many magical things from the interwebs/blogosphere, such as this little mesmerizer below...

Finding The Cure

My lovely, incredible friend Michelle Lynn Colledge has been battling MS for several years now. She and her family have endured many invasive treatments, close-calls, set-backs, and most of all, the medical industry's indifference and complacency. They have managed to stay strong and positive since her diagnosis, always fighting when being told to lay down and take it. She, her husband Mike, and their family are a huge source of insipiration to many, including myself, because of this.

Michelle is currently at John's Hopkins waiting to receive a treatment which has cured the disease in 85% of those who have been lucky enough to get it. However, she may be the last as funding has run dry. I am trying to get this link out to everyone I know so that people can read more about the treatment, and her story.

Michelle's Story

Friday night during the 10pm news on ABC4, her story and the interview from the doctors at John Hopkins will be aired. Please tune in. Of course, donations would be amazing too!

My buddy and pal Lissa Lander makes custom jewelry, sending 100% of the proceeds to charitable causes. If you happen to love jewels, and helping those in need, please check out her shop on Etsy. You may walk away with a shiny new addition to your collection as well as a donation to a great cause.
