Every once in a while I have a phase where I try to eat healthier, part of which involves drinking smoothies for breakfast. There have been many blended morning concoctions that have come and gone along with this. Here are my top three:
Pineapple Mango Smoothie
- 1/2 frozen pineapple
- 1 Mango
- 1 cup papaya juice
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp honey or agave (optional)
- 3 ice cubes
- 1 tbsp flax seed oil
Green Smoothie
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 carrot
- 1 handfull broccoli
- 1 handfull spinach
- 1 cup apple juice
- 3 ice cubes
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, strawberries, grapes
Bluorange Julius
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 3 ice cubes
Combine, blend, enjoy.
